These Affiliate Terms (“Terms“) govern participation in the SUMO Sites Affiliate Program (“Program“) operated by CI Media LTD, trading as SUMO Sites (“we/us“). By joining, you agree to these Terms and our site Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1) Eligibility & Enrollment
- You must be 18+, operate a legitimate business or as a sole trader, and have an active Rewardful account.
- We may accept, deny, or remove any account at our discretion.
- Agencies and platforms must join the Agency (Private) campaign by invitation.
2) Programs & Commission
A. Influencer / Public
- Commission: 15% recurring of Net Subscription Revenue for the first 24 monthly payments of a referred Website Subscription (Starter/Deluxe/Premier US plans).
- Includes upgrades; excludes taxes, refunds, chargebacks, coupon discounts, one-off services, and the post-term Website Care Plan.
B. Agency / Private (by invite)
- Bounty: a one-time amount equal to the customer’s first two successful monthly payments on their chosen Website Subscription.
- If a customer upgrades during those first two months, the bounty reflects the actual amounts collected.
Net Subscription Revenue = amounts actually received by us from Stripe for the relevant subscription, less taxes, payment processor fees, refunds/chargebacks, and discounts.
We may change prospective commission rates with 30 days’ notice. Changes don’t affect commissions already earned on existing active referrals.
3) Tracking & Attribution
- We use Rewardful with a 90-day cookie and last-touch attribution.
- If a partner coupon code is used, coupon attribution overrides last-touch.
- Cross-device, cookie clearing, ad blockers, private browsing, or manual checkout may break attribution. If that happens, you may submit a manual claim within 30 days with reasonable proof (email trail, signed proposal, etc.). Manual approvals are discretionary.
4) Payouts
- Schedule: monthly on the 15th for the prior calendar month.
- Threshold: $100 minimum accrued balance. Unpaid balances roll over.
- Method: PayPal or Wise (you’re responsible for account accuracy and any receiving fees).
- Currency: USD.
- Reversals/Clawbacks: amounts for refunds, failed/voided payments, disputes, or fraud will be deducted from future payouts.
5) Referral Rules
You agree to:
- Use only approved links, assets, and claims.
- Accurately represent our pricing and 24-month minimum term (auto-moves to Website Care Plan from month 25).
- Comply with FTC disclosure (clear “affiliate link”/”sponsored” notices), CAN-SPAM/PECR, and any platform policies.
You must not:
- Self-refer or have immediate family/owned entities sign up through your link.
- Promise discounts or incentives not approved by us.
- Send spam, use bought lists, or mislead prospects.
- Bid on “SUMO Sites“, our trademarks, or close misspellings in search ads; no domain squatting or social handles that impersonate us.
- Copy our site/app or misrepresent yourself as SUMO Sites.
- Publish false performance claims (e.g., “guaranteed rankings/leads”).
Violations may result in voided commissions and removal from the Program.
6) Coupons
- We may issue you a unique coupon code. Only coupons assigned by us are valid for attribution.
- Public coupon sites, code stuffing, or cloaking are not permitted.
7) Customer Relationship
- Referred customers are customers of SUMO Sites. We handle onboarding, billing, support, upgrades, and cancellations per our agreements.
- You may not provide services on our behalf without written approval.
8) Term, Termination, Suspension
- These Terms start when we approve your account and continue until terminated by either party.
- Either party may terminate at any time by written notice (email is fine).
- We may suspend or terminate immediately for suspected breach, fraud, or reputational risk.
- On termination, unpaid earned commissions will be paid on the next cycle, minus any reversals/clawbacks.
9) Brand & Content Usage
- You may use our name “SUMO Sites” and approved logos solely to promote the Program.
- You may not alter our marks or create derivative branding.
- Non-public information we share (rates, dashboards, lists) is confidential.
- Each party must comply with applicable data protection laws (e.g., GDPR/CCPA) for any personal data processed under these Terms.
11) Independent Contractors
We are independent parties. Nothing here creates a partnership, franchise, joint venture, or employment relationship.
12) Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our aggregate liability under these Terms shall not exceed the total commissions paid to you in the 6 months preceding the claim.
13) Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll notify you via email or in-app. Continued participation after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
14) Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales (conflict rules excluded). Exclusive venue: the courts of England & Wales.
